It's the soiree for sore eyes, the Fancy Clip Party, first at Asbury Lanes in New Jersey on Saturday, August 23rd and then at Barrette in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, on Thursday, August 28! We'll be showing some specially requested old favorites and a whole load of new gems culled from the vaults of the Jolly Roger Digital Video Archive. Escape the summer heat and enjoy sizzlin' soul, funky funk and R&B from the likes of Funkadelic, Bo Diddley, Sly Stone and digest the words of wisdom from urban guru-ess, the urban Dr. Ruth, Alexyss K. Tylor. Don't forget that Barrette serves food and has an excellent little menu so you can feed your face while you feast your eyes. Also, we'll have copies of the brand spankin' new Fancy Digest.
